BrittneyLove is a plant enthusiast with an introverted nature who takes great pleasure in brightening people's day. During her leisure time, she can be spotted strolling or enjoying cuddles with her adorable dog Pablo. She is a connoisseur of film and true crime documentaries. BrittneyLove grew up having an affinity for visual arts thanks to her art-collector parents. They were avid collectors of paintings, statues, and masks, created by Black and African artists. Today, BrittneyLove continues her quest to discover and support new and emerging talents in the world of Black visual art. Her genuine appreciation for people's strengths and talents drives her to become their biggest supporter. With her witty sense of humor, she never fails to bring laughter and joy to those around her.
BrittneyLove's journey as an actor began when she fearlessly took on the role of the narrator in her very first play, Tall Tales and Heroes, back in fourth grade. Since then, her passion for acting has only grown stronger. After graduating from the prestigious Larkin Highschool of Visual and Performing Arts academy, she pursued her dreams further by obtaining a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in acting from Columbia College. With over a decade of professional experience under her belt, BrittneyLove has become a familiar face in the industry, starring in numerous award-winning productions at renowned theaters such as Goodman, Northlight, and Court Theatre. However, three years ago, she decided to embark on a new chapter in her career, focusing solely on on-camera work. Since then, she has graced the screens in various commercials, TV shows, and films, captivating audiences with her undeniable talent. BrittneyLove Smith is deeply committed to sharing the untold stories of marginalized women. She delves into the intricate intersections of race, identity, and class, while also exploring the nuances of female relationships and love. Through her writing, she skillfully weaves together her various interests, creating compelling narratives that center around queer women of color navigating love and solving mysteries. Her debut novel, "Hidden Here," is the first installment in a trilogy that offers a captivating blend of BIPOC queer romance and thrilling suspense, all set against the backdrop of Chicago's Northside.
Trish, a Black woman in her mid-thirties, is unexpectedly uprooted from her home by a merciless new wave of gentrification. With no other option, She is forced into an eerie new building where she will have to strike a delicate balance between falling in love with her new neighbor and staying alive.
